BATON ROUGE — Members of the LSU volleyball team were on hand at Broadmoor United Methodist Church last month to help with the Volunteers of America Auxiliary Bridge Luncheon.

The student-athletes were on hand on March 6 to help set up the annual bridge tournament that raises money for the organization.

Volunteers of America serves thousands of our neighbors in need and helps abused and neglected children, at-risk youth, homeless families, the elderly, people with developmental disabilities, people with mental illness, and many more.

The nationwide charity was founded in 1896 with the mission to “reach and uplift all people” – those in need and those with a need to serve.
