BATON ROUGE — LSU junior forward Glen Davis was named a fourth-team All-American by Collegehoops.net as announced by the national college basketball web site on Friday.
Davis, who recently announced he will enter the NBA draft, was the center on the fourth team chosen by the web site that also announced that Kevin Durant was the Player of the Year on a first-team that includes Durant, Acie Law of Texas A&M and Alando Tucker of Wisconsin along with Nick Fazekas of Nevada and Greg Oden of Ohio State.
SEC player Chris Lofton of Tennessee was on the second team with Al Horford and Joakim Noah on Florida on the third team.
Davis was also named an honorable mention All-American by the Associated Press.
