BATON ROUGE — The latest installment of LSU Sports Journal, a program highlighting various aspects of LSU Athletics, can be seen at 9 p.m. Thursday and 7:30 p.m. Monday on Cox Communications Channel 4 in Baton Rouge.
LSU Sports Journal is also broadcast by the Cox Communications affiliates in the seven-parish Greater Baton Rouge area and by affiliates throughout the Acadiana area.
The show, hosted by Jordy Hultberg and Bill Franques, is a monthly, one-hour production featuring interviews with LSU coaches, athletes and administrators.
Viewers are encouraged to check local listings for the times and stations in their areas.
The current show features former LSU baseball all-American Ben McDonald as he discusses his major league career and his recent nomination as a candidate for the College Baseball Hall of Fame.
The show also includes an appearance by LSU women’s golf Karen Bahnsen, who talks about her program’s role as host of the NCAA East Regional tournament in May at the University Club.
The show concludes with appearances by Allison Bruchhaus and Ben Ross of the Tiger Athletic Foundation. They discuss the upcoming LSU Tiger Tour ? a series of interactive fund-raising events featuring LSU coaches and administrators ? and the Foundation of Champions, an endowed scholarship program for LSU student-athletes.
