BATON ROUGE — LSU head gymnastics coach D-D Breaux has been named the honorary chairperson for the McMains Children’s Development Center’s Red Nose Day fundraiser, the organization has announced.
The McMains Children’s Development Center is a non-profit organization that raises money for children with disabilities such as cerebral palsy, autism, developmental delays and learning disabilities.
Red Nose Day will be celebrated throughout the Baton Rouge community on Friday, May 11. The event raises money to help fund vital services the Center provides to children with disabilities such as physical, occupational, speech and educational therapy. Individuals, schools and local businesses can participate by purchasing t-shirts, red noses and plush toy bears and dogs or by hosting a “Dress in Red” or “Free Dress” day.
