Miles to Put Tigers Through First Full Scrimmage

BATON ROUGE — LSU will go through the first of three major scrimmages during the spring on Saturday with a 10:30 a.m. workout at the Charles McClendon Practice Facility.

Saturday’s scrimmage comes at the midpoint of spring practice. LSU will also have a full-scale scrimmage on Saturday, March 17 in Tiger Stadium followed by the spring game on Saturday, March 24.

Next week’s practice schedule has the Tigers working out on Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday. 

Highlighting next week’s spring football activities for the Tigers include LSU Pro Day on Wednesday followed by the LSU’s annual football coaching clinic on Thursday through Saturday. This year’s featured clinic speaker is former Colorado head coach Bill McCartney.

The clinic starts at 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 15 with breakout meetings with the LSU coaching staff at the LSU Football Operations Center on campus. Registration begins at 6:30 p.m. at the LSU Football Operations Center on Thursday.

Registration for the clinic opens at 8 a.m. on Friday, March 16 at the Sheraton Hotel Atrium with Friday’s portion of the clinic set to begin at 8:30 a.m. The clinic concludes with the LSU football scrimmage at 1 p.m. in Tiger Stadium on Saturday.
