BATON ROUGE — After having its opening weekend rained out, the LSU women’s tennis team will play the first match of its regular season Wednesday versus UL-Lafayette at 2 p.m. CST.
Due to the re-surfacing of the Lady Tigers’ home courts at W.T. “Dub” Robinson Tennis Stadium, the match will be held at the Paula G. Manship YMCA located at 8100 Plaza Dr. in Baton Rouge.
“I would encourage everyone to come out to the match,” LSU head coach Tony Minnis said. “The girls have been practicing hard and are ready to play.”
After this match the Lady Tigers will travel throughout February to take on San Diego, San Diego St., Texas A&M, Rice and Houston. They will return home on Feb. 23 and play host to Florida State at 3 p.m. at the “Dub.”
