BATON ROUGE — The next meeting of the LSU Baseball Coaches Committee is scheduled for 6 p.m. Tuesday in Alex Box Stadium. Dinner will be served at 6 p.m., and the program will begin at 7 p.m.
The meeting will feature the first-year coach Paul Mainieri and his staff, along with members of the Fighting Tigers squad.
LSU assistant to the athletics director Dan Canevari will also provide information about the upcoming First Pitch Banquet and Alumni Weekend, scheduled for Feb. 1-3.
Coaches Committee members are encouraged to bring prospective members to Tuesday’s meeting. Membership applications will be available for all fans wishing to join the organization.
The Coaches Committee has served as the baseball program’s fund-raising organization since 1983. Coaches Committee funds have assisted the athletics department in purchasing equipment and making numerous improvements to Alex Box Stadium.
