BATON ROUGE — The LSU Track and Field Association recently elected its new officers for the 2006-07 season, named five association members to its Board of Directors and inducted three of its members into the LSUTF Association Hall of Fame.
Dwight Woosley has been elected to serve as Association President for the upcoming year after serving as the organization’s Vice President a year ago. E.L. Gueho is set to take Woosley’s place as Vice President, while Paul Stelly and Myrna Schexnayder will serve as treasurer and secretary, respectively.
In addition, Jimmy Gilbert, Jeffery Hoffman, Darwin Klar, George Simoneaux and Woosley have each been elected to serve on the LSUTF Association Board of Directors. Newly elected officers will serve one-year terms, while board members will serve in that capacity for the next three years.
The association also honored three of its members for their dedicated service over the years as Kirk Brown, Sherry Gueho and William “Bill” Morris have earned induction into the LSUTF Association Hall of Fame.
