Four Gymnastics Meets to be Televised

BATON ROUGE — LSU’s ninth-ranked gymnastics team will have four meets televised on a tape delay basis this season it was announced by the Southeastern Conference office.

The Tigers will appear on ESPN2 twice and FOX Sports Net two times. The ESPN2 broadcasts will be shown in over 90 million homes nationwide, while the FOX Sports Net telecasts will reach 28 million homes throughout the South and Southwest regions.

LSU’s season-opening meet, the Super Six Challenge on Jan. 5, will be televised by ESPN2 on Jan. 14 at 2:30 p.m. (CT).

The network is also picking up LSU’s dual meet with defending SEC and NCAA champions, Georgia, on Feb. 2. The broadcast is scheduled for Feb. 18 at noon.

FOX Sports Net will then televise the Tigers’ Feb. 16 dual meet at Auburn, airing the match up on Feb. 24 at 1 p.m.

Lastly, LSU will be featured in the broadcast of the SEC Championships that is schedule to air April 7 at 6 p.m. on the FOX Sports Net.
