FORT WORTH, Texas — Megan Falcon and Hannah Robinson of the LSU women’s tennis team lost in the final round of the doubles main draw at ITA Southwest.
In the semifinal round, No. 7 seeded Falcon and Robinson defeated the No. 3 seed Anna Lubinsky and Nicki Mechem of TAMU, 8-6. LubinSky and Mechem are ranked 45 by ITA.
They went on to face the No. 2 seed in the final round of play, but could not grab the win as they fell to No. 24-ranked Ana Cetnik and Anna Sydorska of TCU, 8-6.
The Lady Tigers will return to action in the SEC Coaches Classic on Nov. 2.
