BATON ROUGE — The latest installment of LSU Sports Journal, a program highlighting various aspects of the LSU Athletics Department, can be seen at 7:30 p.m. Monday on Cox Communications Channel 4 in Baton Rouge.
The show, hosted by Jordy Hultberg and Bill Franques, is a monthly, one-hour production featuring interviews with LSU coaches, athletes and administrators. LSU Sports Journal airs each Monday at 7:30 p.m. and each Thursday at 9 p.m.
LSU Sports Journal also airs on the Cox Communications affiliates in the seven-parish Greater Baton Rouge area and on affiliates throughout the Acadiana area.
Viewers are encouraged to check local listings for the times and stations in their areas.
The current show features LSU Alumni Association executive vice president Cliff Vannoy as he discusses the Jack and Priscilla Andonie Museum. The museum, located adjacent to the Lod Cook Alumni Center, is a state-of-the-art facility containing unique Fighting Tiger memorabilia and video.
The show also includes appearances by LSU volleyball coach Fran Flory, who has guided the Tigers to their best start since 1991, and by assistant to the athletics director Dan Canevari, who discusses LSU’s new online auction of rare autographed items.
The show concludes with a profile of LSU senior free safety LaRon Landry, the leader of the Tigers’ top-ranked defensive unit.
