BATON ROUGE — In conjunction with the YWCA and LSU’s Zeta Tau Alpha sorority, LSU head gymnastics coach D-D Breaux will be hosting a kick-off reception for the Baton Rouge area Pink Ribbon Campaign Thursday at 5:30 p.m. in the multi-purpose room of the Pete Maravich Assembly Center.
Breaux, a long-time supporter of breast cancer awareness, will serve as the co-chair of this year’s Pick Ribbon Campaign along with civic leader V. Jean Butler. Breaux also chaired the campaign last year.
The campaign is designed to raise awareness for the cause and promote early detection of the disease for medically underserved women in the area.
