BATON ROUGE — LSU’s game against Mississippi State on Saturday, Sept. 30, in Tiger Stadium will start at 11:30 a.m. and will be televised to a regional audience by Lincoln Financial Sports (formerly Jefferson Pilot Sports), the Southeastern Conference announced on Monday.
The Mississippi State game marks the first time in two years that LSU has moved a home game to an 11:30 a.m. start for television. The last time it happened also came against Mississippi State during the 2004 season. LSU won that game, 51-0.
Other games set for television on Sept. 30 include Tennessee at Memphis at 11 a.m. on ESPN; Alabama at Florida at 2:30 p.m. on CBS; and Georgia at Ole Miss at 8 p.m. on ESPN2.
LSU returns to action on Saturday when the 10th-ranked Tigers host Tulane at 7 p.m. in Tiger Stadium.
