BATON ROUGE — LSU’s men’s team had four members ranked in the Fila Intercollegiate Tennis Association preseason rankings released Friday.
Senior Ken Skupski led the way as he was ranked No. 12 in the singles rankings. Junior Colt Gaston came in at No. 86 and senior Danny Bryan broke in the rankings at No. 101.
All three Tigers were ranked in doubles as well. After posting a team-high 26 wins last season, Bryan and Gaston stormed in the doubles rankings at No. 12. Even though they have only competed as a duo in five matches, Skupski and sophomore James Cluskey came in at No. 28.
The Tigers open the 2006-07 season this weekend at the Courtyard by Marriot/Rice Invitational in Houston.
