BATON ROUGE — Only 1,200 tickets remain for eighth-ranked LSU’s game against Arizona on Saturday in Tiger Stadium, director of ticket operations Brian Broussard announced.
Kickoff for LSU’s contest against the Wildcats is slated for the 5:30 p.m. The game will be televised to a national audience by ESPN2.
The Tigers go into the Arizona contest with a 1-0 overall mark following last week’s 45-3 win over Louisiana-Lafayette. That game was played before 92,362 fans in Tiger Stadium, which marked the third-largest crowd in school history and the largest season-opening crowd for the Tigers.
Broussard also said that LSU has 1,000 tickets remaining for the Mississippi State game on Sept. 30, 1,000 left for the Kentucky contest on Oct. 14 and 300 for the Fresno State game on Oct. 21. All other LSU home games are sold out, according to Broussard.
Single-game tickets for those four games are $36 each and can be purchased on the Internet at www.lsusports.net or by calling the LSU Athletic Ticket Office at (225) 578-2184 or (800) 960-8587.
