BATON ROUGE — LSU Sports Properties announced today the signing of Super Chevy Dealers to a three-year sponsorship agreement in support of LSU Athletics.
As the “Official Vehicle of LSU Athletics and “Team LSU Partner,” Super Chevy Dealers joins an impressive list of top LSU Athletics sponsors including Cox Communications and Ochsner Health System.
“Chevrolet has supported the NCAA from a national level for years, it is with great pleasure that the Super Chevy Dealers in the Baton Rouge area launch a very local partnership with a national powerhouse in collegiate athletics,” said Matt McKay of Super Chevy Dealers. “LSU has a great reputation of academic and athletic excellence, and being a Team LSU Partner is an exciting way for us to help continue that tradition.”
As part of the sponsorship agreement, LSU Sports Properties will provide Super Chevy Dealers with premium signage in all athletic venues; game sponsorships in football, men’s and women’s basketball, and baseball; radio, print and Internet exposure, including coaches’ shows; tickets and hospitality; marketing rights and exclusive use of the Team LSU mark; and support of a Super Chevy Dealers promotion. In addition, a Chevy pick-up truck will pull Tiger One, LSU’s mobile radio station and hospitality venue, giving Super Chevy Dealers additional exposure to fans.
“The Super Chevy Dealers is a great addition to Team LSU, and a great brand that fits nicely with collegiate sports,” said Ward Wyatt, general manager of LSU Sports Properties. “With the successful record and strength of LSU Athletics, Baton Rouge is one of the hottest collegiate sports venues in the country. We’re glad the Super Chevy Dealers has shown its support and will be part of the action.”
