BATON ROUGE — LSU head coach Brian Lee put his soccer squad through its only full-length scrimmage of fall camp Thursday at the LSU Soccer Complex with the two teams of Tigers battling to a 1-1 tie.
The gold team took a 1-0 lead when freshman Kathleen Walsh lobbed a volley past the keeper off a cross by fellow freshman Katherine Lagow in the 67th minute of play. Senior Julie Neumann tied the score for the grey team in the 72nd minute by knocking a loose ball in the back of the net off a corner kick by junior Sara Pollock.
