BATON ROUGE — Second-year LSU coach Les Miles will welcome 105 players to campus on Sunday starting at 8 a.m. as the ninth-ranked Tigers open fall camp.

The Tigers will use Sunday as an orientation day as the players will be issued equipment, go through a physical examination, meet with academic personnel and be put through a compliance meeting.
LSU will go through its first day of practice on Monday with the veterans working at 9 a.m. followed by the rookies and selected veterans at 3:30 p.m. The Tigers will have split practice sessions for the first four days before working out as an entire team for the first time on Friday.
LSU opens its season on Sept. 2 in Tiger Stadium when they host Louisiana-Lafayette at 7 p.m.
