BATON ROUGE — Tryouts for the 2006-07 LSU cheerleading squad were conducted April 28-30 in the Pete Maravich Assembly Center on the campus of LSU. The final selection of the cheer squad will take place this summer.

Additionally, tryouts for the 2006-07 LSU “Mike the Tiger” mascot team were also conducted at the same time in the Maravich Center.
