BATON ROUGE — For the first time in the history of the Southeastern Conference, one school has claimed both the men’s and women’s outright league basketball championships in the same season: the LSU Tigers and Lady Tigers. One month later, both advanced to the Final Four.
Congratulations to head coaches John Brady and Pokey Chatman, and to their staffs and players for a truly special 2005-06 season.
