BATON ROUGE — Registrations are being taken for the inaugural AD’s Drive for Excellence Golf Tournament featuring David Toms, to be held Monday, May 1, at The University Club.
The tournament, with a four-player scramble format, will benefit LSU Athletics and the LSU Chip-In-Club, which provides financial support for the LSU men’s and women’s golf programs.
The event will feature a pre-tournament golf clinic with David Toms as well as silent and live auctions at an awards luncheon.
Tournament fees are $300 for an individual and $1,200 for each team, which includes a golf cart, green fees, breakfast, tournament awards, a luncheon and a tournament gift.
The schedule of events starts at 8 a.m. when the driving range opens for all players, followed by the David Toms Clinic at 8:15 a.m. and a shotgun start for the tournament at 9 a.m. The day will conclude with a lunch and awards ceremony.
