BATON ROUGE — Less than 500 tickets remain for the LSU men’s home basketball game against Kentucky on Feb. 25, as the Tigers move into the home stretch of the season.

The Tigers, battling for a Southeastern Conference championship, have three home games remaining starting next Wednesday night at 7 p.m. at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center against Mississippi State. That game will feature the fan-favorite halftime show, Quick Change.

The Tigers will also, before the end of the regular season, host Kentucky on Feb. 26 at 2:45 p.m. and Ole Miss in the season finale on March 4. The game time for that game will be determined once JP Sports picks its games for the final Saturday of the season.

Tickets for all three games remain on sale at the LSU Athletics Ticket Office and online at LSUsports.net. According to Director of Ticket Operations Brian Broussard, approximately 500 tickets remain available for sale for the Feb. 25 Kentucky game and a little over 3,000 tickets remain for the Mississippi State and Ole Miss contests.

Tickets are $14 for each of the three games and youth tickets are also available for ages 3-12 at $5 each.

The Tigers are 16-6 overall and 8-1, tied for the overall lead and two games up in the Western Division, following Wednesday’s 78-77 win over Arkansas. LSU plays at Florida this Saturday at Noon CST in a game regionally-televised by JP Sports.

The Mississippi State game will feature one of the most popular halftime acts to ever grace the court at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center, the popular “Quick Change” duo will be here to continue to dazzle the crowd with their ability to change outfits in the blink of an eye.

The Kentucky game will be part of the SEC Throwback Week and the teams will wear the jerseys selected to represent a certain era in the program’s history. LSU is wearing jerseys similar to the ones worn when Pete Maravich became college basketball’s all-time leading scorer and the Tigers advanced to the NIT Final Four in 1969-70.

Also at the game, the members of the 1986 NCAA Final Four LSU team will be back on campus to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their Cinderella run to Dallas. The Tigers team was, and remains at No. 11, the lowest seeded team to ever make it out of a regional to the NCAA Final Four. The team will be introduced to the crowd, sign autographs and the game program will feature pictures and information about that magical time in LSU basketball.

Promotions for the season finale, along with the senior salute to Darrel Mitchell, are still being finalized pending the start time for the game.
