BATON ROUGE — Despite two more convincing wins and a 4-0 start the LSU men’s tennis team slipped No. 11 in the nation Tuesday when the Intercollegiate Tennis Association released its third poll of the spring.
Around the SEC, No. 1 Florida and No. 2 Georgia remained at those spots, while Ole Miss moved from No. 6 to 5th. There are eight SEC teams in the top-25, with only one ranked outside of the top-50.
New individual rankings were not released. LSU junior, Ken Skupski is No. 66 in the singles poll.
Skupski and Mark Growcott are ranked No. 10 in doubles. Danny Bryan and Colt Gaston are ranked 24th.
The Tigers will travel to Ann Arbor, Michigan on Friday to face the 42nd ranked Michigan Wolverines and Columbus, Ohio on Sunday to take on No. 15 Ohio State.
