BATON ROUGE — The LSU vs. Stanford softball game at the Palm Springs Classic has been picked up for broadcast by ESPNU, making it the third Tiger softball game to be aired on the national network this season.
LSU will travel to Palm Springs to face the Cardinal on Sunday, Feb. 26 at 11 a.m. (CT) at the “Wrigley Field” in the Big League Dreams Complex. The Tigers’ game will be the first of three contests aired by ESPNU at the tournament that day, followed by UCLA vs. Oklahoma and Arizona vs. Texas.
In addition to the live telecast, the game will be replayed on ESPNU on Monday, Feb. 27 at noon (CT) and again on Saturday, March 4 at 8:30 a.m. (CT).
LSU is now scheduled to appear on the ESPN networks three times this season. Following the contest with Stanford, the Tigers are scheduled to appear on ESPN2 on May 6 at Tennessee and on ESPNU on May 7 at Tennessee. LSU is also scheduled to appear five times on Cox Sports Television and once on Fox Sports Southwest.
