BATON ROUGE — Don’t miss a minute of the action when the 11th-ranked Tigers take on No. 22 Arkansas this Friday in Fayetteville as LSU presents its first-ever live gymnastics audiocast on www.LSUsports.net. The broadcast will begin at 7 p.m. and is free to all Tiger fans.
“I think this puts us on the cutting edge of what other top-12 teams in the country are doing,” said LSU head coach D-D Breaux. “It’s a great opportunity for our fans who are unable to travel to follow our meets, not only with live scoring, but with live play-by-play descriptions.”
Veteran sports announcer Lyn Rollins will be handling the Tigers’ play-by-play duties. He will be joined by analysts Megan Durning and Jewel Pollock.
The meet marks the beginning of SEC competition for the Tigers who finished the conference slate tied with a league best 5-1 record last season. Arkansas opened its SEC schedule last week with a loss to top-ranked Georgia.
