BATON ROUGE — Season tickets for 2006 LSU gymnastics are now on sale. Ticket prices for the Tigers’ seven-meet regular season home schedule are just $30 for adults and $18 for kids 12 and under.
Tickets can be purchased online at www.LSUsports.net beginning on Sunday, in person at the LSU Ticket Office or over the phone by calling (225) 578-2184 or 800-960-8587.
The Tigers’ 2006 home schedule features seven regular season meets, including the nation’s premier season-opening event, the Super Six Challenge, on Jan. 6.
LSU’s home slate also includes dual meets against five preseason top-25 programs in No. 3 UCLA, No. 4 Alabama, No. 10 Oklahoma, No. 15 Auburn and No. 23 Kentucky.
The LSU marketing and promotions office has several exciting promotions in store for fans during the 2006 season. The first 500 fans in the door at the Super Six Challenge will receive a free LSU gymnastics t-shirt. On Feb. 10, dads can bring their daughters to the Kentucky meet for free. In addition, 2006 gymnastics trading cards, featuring all gymnasts and coaches, will also be given away to the first 2,000 fans that evening.
The March 3 match-up against Alabama will feature mini-makeovers on the PMAC’s upper concourse prior to the meet, while the Tigers’ regular season finale against UCLA on March 17 will give fans the chance to win an April Burkholder bobblehead doll.
