BATON ROUGE — LSU Athletics and LSU Sports Properties are sponsoring a free concert by Cowboy Mouth prior to the LSU versus Arkansas football game on Friday, Nov. 25.  The show is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. in Tiger One Village in front of the Maravich Center.

“My family is from Baton Rouge, my grandfather, Fred LeBlanc Sr. was the mayor of Baton Rouge in the 1940’s, and Cowboy Mouth bleeds purple and gold,” said Cowboy Mouth front man Fred LeBlanc on playing at LSU.

Cowboy Mouth is a nationally renowned New Orleans rock band best known for their wildly intense music and hit songs like “Jenny Says.”  They play more than 150 shows each year in front of approximately one million people throughout the United States.

“We are extremely excited to have Cowboy Mouth performing this year,” said Ward Wyatt, LSU Sports Properties General Manager.  “It is a great way for us to show our appreciation to the faithful LSU fans.  It will be the perfect conclusion to an exciting home football season.”

The Tiger One Village schedule begins with Cowboy Mouth at 10:00 a.m. followed by the LSU Gameday radio pre-game show presented by Cox Sports Television with Jim Hawthorne at 11:30 a.m.  Kick off for the LSU vs. Arkansas game will be at 1:30 p.m.
