PEACHTREE, Ga. — Two members of the LSU women’s tennis team begin competition in the Southeastern Conference Coaches Classic on Thursday at the Peachtree Tennis Center in Peachtree, Ga.
Sophomores Anastasiya Dubova and Tiffany Tucker will compete in doubles Thursday beginning at 4 p.m. CST. They both also will participate in singles competition starting Friday.
This tournament, which includes players from the 12 SEC schools, will run from Thursday through Sunday.
The SEC Coaches Classic also concludes the Lady Tigers’ fall season. They play in one more preseason tournament in early January at Michigan before beginning the regular season Jan. 21 in a double dual match versus in-state rivals Nicholls State and UL-Lafayette.
“We’re looking forward to finishing up the fall season,” head coach Tony Minnis said. “We made a lot of changes to the players’ games and are anxious to see how those pan out in the spring.”
