Track and Field Inducts Three into Official’s Assn. Hall of Fame

BATON ROUGE — Over the course of two meetings the LSU Track and Field Official’s Association elected its new officers for the 2005-06 season, inducted three members into the Hall of Fame and recognized several others for their service in the organization.

It was voted on that E.L. Gueho would serve as Association President for the upcoming year. Dwight Woosley was named Vice President and Paul Stelly and Myrna Schexnayder were named treasurer and secretary, respectively.

In addition, five board members were elected to new three-year terms. Earning re-election were Donald Dunbar, Darwin Klar, L.J. Raymond and Myrna Schexnayder. Karen Hayes was elected to her first term on the board.

The association also honored several of its members for their dedicated serve over the years.

Mary Dunbar, Myrna Schexnayder and Irving Schexnayder were each inducted into the Hall of Fame.

Lew Carter, Joseph Moses, and Lynn Roberts were each recognized for 20 years of service to the organization, while Jean Broussard, John Broussard, John Boyer and Bertrand were honored for 15 years of service.
