BATON ROUGE — Next week’s Southeastern Conference matchup between LSU and Alabama will be televised to a national audience by CBS, the league office announced on Monday.
Kickoff for the Tigers and the Crimson Tide is set for 2:30 p.m. in Tuscaloosa, Ala.
The LSU-Alabama contest could potentially pit a pair of top five ranked teams. LSU goes into this week’s game against Appalachian State ranked No. 6 in the nation, while the fourth-ranked Crimson Tide travel to face Mississippi State.
Other SEC games scheduled for network television next week include Florida at South Carolina at 11:30 a.m. on Jefferson Pilot and Auburn at Georgia at 6:45 p.m. on ESPN.
