BATON ROUGE — In its continued effort to promote breast cancer awareness, the Tiger gymnastics team will be on hand Sunday at the LSU-Alabama volleyball game to raise money for the YWCA Pink Ribbon Campaign.
In the spirit of Halloween, team members will be accepting donations for paper pumpkins which will be used to create a pumpkin patch in honor of those who contribute to the cause.
All proceeds raised will go directly to the YWCA Pink Ribbon Campaign which funds mammograms for the medically underserved in the Baton Rouge area.
The volleyball game begins at 1:30 p.m. and the gymnastics team will have a table set up on the PMAC’s upper concourse by the Fan Zone at 12:30 p.m.
