Volleyball Announces GameDay Changes

BATON ROUGE — As the LSU volleyball team prepares to play its first home match of the 2005 season against Mississippi State on Friday at 6 p.m., fans attending home matches this year will notice a few changes on gameday, as the entrance and ticket office have been moved to the upper concourse and fans are encouraged to park in lot L behind the Maravich Center.

This season, fans will enter the Maravich Center through the upper concourse on the south side of the building located directly across from Tiger Stadium, as opposed to entering on the ground level as in previous years. Persons needing handicapped seating will still be able to enter through the lower level and are advised to enter through the southeast entrance.

While admission to Friday’s match is free as part of “Party at Pete’s Place”, for future matches, the ticket office on the south upper concourse facing Tiger Stadium will be utilized, eliminating the use of the ticket office windows located on the southwest side of the lower level.

Additionally, with continued construction at Tiger Stadium, fans are encouraged to park in Lot L for volleyball matches. This lot is located off of Cypress Drive, directly behind the Maravich Center near the Carl Maddox Fieldhouse and the W.T. “Dub” Robinson Tennis Stadium, and down the hill from the Indian Mounds.
