BATON ROUGE — Comedian Mark Curry, best know for his role in the sitcom “Hangin’ With Mr. Cooper,” will perform a stand-up act during Friday’s “Party At Pete’s Palace” the first basketball practice of the season held in the Pete Maravich Assembly Center.
Curry will perform for about 40 minutes on the floor of the Maravich Center after LSU’s first home volleyball match of the season and a short autograph session with the men’s and women’s basketball teams.
Admission is free to the event, including the volleyball match against Mississippi State that begins at 6 p.m. CDT.
In addition to “Hangin’ With Mr. Cooper,” Curry has also appeared on HBO’s “One Night Stand” and hosted “Showtime at the Apollo” for five seasons.
Friday’s festivities will also include a chance to win a Nissan Titan.
