LSU Student Ticket Transfer Procedure Announced

BATON ROUGE — LSU students who hold football tickets for the 2005 season may transfer these to another qualified LSU student using a new process, the Ticket Office announced on Tuesday.

Transferring Student Tickets

Log into your Student Account via LSUsports.net. To find this link, click on “Student Tickets” under the “Tickets” menu. Then, click “Login Now” from the Student Tickets homepage (http://www.lsusports.net/studenttickets).

  1. Once logged in, click on the “My Account” link from the left navigation.
  2. Click on the “Transfer Ticket / Items of Cancel Transfers” link.
  3. Select the game you would like to transfer. IMPORTANT NOTE: Transfers can only be accepted by fellow LSU Students. A ticket can only be transferred one time.
  4. Complete the LSU Student’s Name and PAWS e-mail address. Then select if you or the recipient will be paying the $1.50 charge. If you will be paying the charge, add your credit card information. If the recipient will be paying the charge, simply select “Recipient” and then “Submit”
  5. Your transfer request has been completed. An e-mail is then sent automatically to the transfer recipient’s PAWS e-mail address. The LSU student then has 24 hours to accept the transfer. If it is not accepted in that timeframe, the ticket will revert back to your account.
  6. To Cancel a tranfer, return to Step 3 and use the “Cancel Transfer” option, if the recipient has not already accepted the transfer.

Accepting a Transferred Ticket

  1. Recipients will receive an e-mail that includes a link to accept the transfer. Open your PAWS e-mail, find the e-mail and click on the link.
  2. Login to the student ticketing system or register if you have never logged in before.
  3. There is a $1.50 fee associated with this transfer, if not paid by the sender. You will be required to pay this fee to proceed. If so, enter a valid credit card and click “Check Out”
  4. Your ticket will then be available for pickup at the LSU Ticket Office in the LSU Athletics Administration Building.

Important notes about transfers

1. There will be only a one-time transfer.  Transferred tickets cannot be transferred again.
2. Transferred tickets can only be accepted by lsu students who are:

  • Full time status
  • Have at least a 2.0 cumulative GPA
  • Have all fees paid
