BATON ROUGE — The latest installment of LSU Sports Journal, a program highlighting various aspects of the LSU Athletics Department, premiers at 7:30 p.m. Monday on Cox Communications Channel 4 in Baton Rouge. The show, hosted by Jordy Hultberg and Bill Franques, is a monthly, one-hour production featuring interviews with LSU coaches, athletes and administrators.
Monday’s show features LSU associate athletics director Verge Ausberry as he addresses the university’s involvement in the hurricane relief effort. The show also includes first-year LSU soccer coach Brian Lee, who discusses the early-season success of his 2005 club.
LSU Sports Journal concludes with an appearance by volleyball coach Fran Flory, whose team is off to its best start (10-1 record) since the 1991 season.
LSU Sports Journal also airs on the Cox Communications affiliates in the seven-parish Greater Baton Rouge area and on the Cox Sports Television regional network.
