BATON ROUGE — The LSU volleyball team’s match against No. 8 Notre Dame on Sunday has been changed to an 11 a.m. start time.
The Tigers (8-1) are scheduled to play the Fighting Irish as part of the modified Sugar Bowl Classic in College Station, Texas. LSU had previously been scheduled to play Notre Dame at noon, but, on Wednesday, the match time was changed to 11 a.m.
The tournament was moved to Texas A&M after Hurricane Katrina devastated New Orleans, site of the Sugar Bowl Classic and tournament host Tulane. The Green Wave volleyball team is currently enrolled and training at Texas A&M and will participate in the tournament, although they will not play the Tigers.
