BATON ROUGE — Due to the logistics of travel and lack of available hotel rooms in the Baton Rouge area, the LSU soccer team’s home match against Arkansas-Pine Bluff on Thursday at 7 p.m. has been cancelled, head coach Brian Lee announced Tuesday.
The Tigers will instead travel to Nashville, Tenn., and take on the Belmont Bruins of the Atlantic Sun Conference at the Whitten Soccer Complex on Friday at 7 p.m.
LSU is scheduled to host Jackson State on Sunday at 2 p.m. for its home opener with the theme being “Take a Kid to the Game.” All adults accompanied by a child 12 and under will receive a free LSU soccer visor with the kids receiving a free LSU soccer t-shirt.
