BATON ROUGE — Senior Stacie McDougall has decided to rejoin the Tigers for her senior season head coach Brian Lee announced Friday.
McDougall, a native of Mandeville, played from 2001-02 before leaving the team for personal reasons. In two years McDougall saw action in 27 games with two career starts as a forward. As a freshman McDougall scored two goals and had an assist against SEC opponents.
“We are excited that Stacie has decided to return to the program,” said Lee. “We are looking forward to getting on the field with all of the 2005 Tigers when preseason camp opens in August.”
McDougall scored the game-winning goal against Ole Miss on Oct. 5, 2001, as the Tigers would go on to win 3-0.
