BATON ROUGE — The LSU women’s tennis team has added a match to its schedule for this Tuesday at home against Louisiana-Lafayette at 3 p.m.
With a match against Florida State scheduled for earlier this season canceled because of inclement weather, head coach Tony Minnis wanted another opportunity for his team to get in a good non-conference match before postseason.
The Lady Tigers played ULL once already this season, defeating them 7-0.
This match will be the first of three in five days for LSU. After facing ULL, they travel to New Orleans to battle in-state rival Tulane on Wednesday followed by a trip to Fayetteville, Ark., on Saturday where they close out the regular season against the Lady’Backs.
The Lady Tigers, who play Alabama in Tuscaloosa on Sunday, will return there for the Southeastern Conference Tournament hosted by Alabama on April 21.
