Dalman, Saucier Qualify for Finals at Zone B Diving

Swimming and Diving Continues on Day Two at NCAAs

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. — Senior Christian Clausen, participating in the second-to-last event of his career, swam the 100 breaststroke for LSU as day two of the NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships came to a close from the Minnesota Aquatic Center.

Clausen finished 29th in the event with a time of 55.20. On Saturday, he will close out his career in the 200 breaststroke, the third event scheduled for the final day of competition.

Freshman Niko Dalman represented the Tiger divers on Friday, participating in 3-meter springboard. Dalman, who earned honorable mention All-America honors for his 12th-place finish in the 1-meter on Thursday, scored a mark of 300.80 to place 25th.

The talented freshman will also dive in the platform competition, the final event scheduled for Saturday.
