BATON ROUGE — LSU men’s basketball coach John Brady will be part of a panel of coaches looking at the NCAA Tournament Field on the “Mountain Dew Road to No. 1” show which will begin airing across the country today on Fox Sports Net.
The show will be shown for the first time on Fox Sports Southwest in Louisiana (Cable Ch. 38 in Baton Rouge) at 3 p.m. on Tuesday and will be repeated several times before the first games of the tournament on Thursday. Viewers should check local listings for the FSN affiliates in their area.
Announcer Tim Brando hosts the hour show, which was taped Monday night in Chicago, and on the panel along with Coach Brady was NCAA Tournament coaches Bob Tomason of Pacific, Blaine Taylor of Old Dominion and Chris Lowery of Southern Illinois. Ironically, both LSU and Pacific will play their opening round games Thursday at the Taco Bell Arena in Boise, Id.
The show, which airs all three weeks of the tournament, is an annual production of Intersport of Chicago, a national syndicator of sports programming.
