BATON ROUGE — Bobby April, the 2004 NFL Special Teams Coach of the Year from the Buffalo Bills, headlines the 2005 LSU Football Coaches Clinic that runs from March 31-April 2.
First-year LSU coach Les Miles will speak at the clinic at 11:30 a.m. on Friday at the Sheraton Hotel Atrium followed by April, who will address the group at 11:45 a.m.
The 2005 clinic includes high school state championship coaches from Louisiana, Texas, Mississippi, Alabama and Florida.
Featured speakers from the LSU coaching staff include offensive coordinator Jimbo Fisher, defensive coordinator Bo Pelini and special teams coordinator Bradley Dale Peveto.
The clinic starts at 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 31 with breakout meetings with the LSU coaching staff at the Lawton Room on campus. Registration begins at 6:30 p.m. at the Lawton Room on Thursday.
Registration opens at 8 a.m. on Friday, April 1 at the Sheraton Hotel Atrium with Friday’s portion of the clinic set to begin at 8:30 a.m. The clinic concludes with the LSU football scrimmage at 1 p.m. in Tiger Stadium on Saturday.
