ATLANTA — Freshman Niko Dalman and sophomore Hali Saucier qualified for finals in their respective events to highlight the LSU diving team’s performance on Friday at the NCAA Zone B Diving Championships from Georgia Tech’s Aquatic Center.
Dalman, a native of Auburn, Wash., placed 12th out of 39 divers in the 1-meter with a final score of 595.85. Andrew Keane scored a mark of 221.50 in the prelims to finish 37th.
In the women’s 3-meter competition, Saucier took 15th in the finals with a score of 435.60. Jessica Wantz placed 20th overall, finishing with a score of 249.70.
Saturday’s competition begins at 10:30 a.m. EST with the women’s 1-meter. The men’s 3-meter will close day two at 4:15 p.m. EST.
