BATON ROUGE — The LSU Tiger basketball team has won five straight games to put itself in position to win the Southeastern Conference Western Division title and the LSU Athletics Department is putting tickets on sale for $5 in honor of that for Saturday’s 3 p.m. game in the Pete Maravich Center with Vanderbilt.
All tickets purchased on line at www.LSUsports.net. until 10 a.m. Saturday are available for $5 each. There is a handling fee charged for the on line ticket purchase for the total order.
Also, LSU baseball fans can use their ticket stub from Saturday’s noon baseball game with UAB and redeem it for a $5 basketball ticket for the Vanderbilt game.
Senior day ceremonies begin at 2:45 p.m. honoring Antonio Hudson, Josh Maravich, Xavier Whipple and Paul Wolfert. The 18-8 Tigers, 11-4 in the SEC West, will be playing for the division title and could possibly be playing for the No. 1 seed from the SEC West as well.
