BATON ROUGE — Members of the LSU volleyball team will help with the annual Volunteers of American Auxiliary Bridge Luncheon on Wednesday morning at Broadmoor United Methodist Church.
The student-athletes will be on hand to help set up tables and help with the organization for the annual bridge tournament that raises money for the organization.
Volunteers of America service thousands of people in need and helps abused and neglected children, at-risk youth, homeless families, the elderly, people with developmental disabilities, people with mental illness and many more.
The nationwide charity was founded in 1896 with the mission to “reach and uplift all people” — those in need and those with a need to share.
