HOUSTON — Saturday’s scheduled baseball game between LSU and Houston has been postponed due to rain. The teams will now play two nine-inning games on Sunday in order to complete their weekend series.
The first game will start at 1 p.m. Sunday, with a second game to follow at 5 p.m. Both games can be heard on the LSU Sports Network (98.1 FM in Baton Rouge) and on the Internet at www.LSUsports.net.
Both games are also scheduled to be televised statewide by the Jumbo Sports Network. The 1 p.m. game can be seen in Baton Rouge on WVLA (Cable Ch. 3) and the Baton Rouge affiliate for the 5 p.m. game will be WZUP (Cable Ch. 13).
Houston (3-6) won Game 1 of the series, 2-1, on Friday night, handing second-ranked LSU (7-1) its first loss of the season.
