BATON ROUGE — The LSU campus will host numerous athletic events this weekend starting with track and field, baseball and softball on Friday. As a result, fans are asked to arrive early to help ease parking on campus.
On Friday, LSU will host Arkansas-Little Rock at Alex Box Stadium starting at 6:30 p.m. In addition, the LSU softball team plays host to the Tiger Classic at Tiger Park starting at 3:15, while the track and field team will host the LSU Twilight Invitational at the Maddox Field House starting at 3 p.m.
Saturday’s action continues with day two of the Tiger Classic in softball, while John Brady‘s men’s basketball team hosts Florida at 2 p.m. at the Maravich Assembly Center. The baseball team will face Arkansas-Little Rock in the second game of its three-game series at 4 p.m. The Lady Tiger tennis team faces Tulsa at the Robinson Tennis Stadium at 1 p.m.
In addition, LSU’s Maddox Field House will host hundreds of prep athletes all day Saturday for the Louisiana High School Athletic Association Indoor Track and Field Championships.
Sunday’s action concludes with the final day of the Tiger Classic, starting at 9 a.m. The baseball team wraps up its series with the Arkansas-Little Rock at 1 p.m., while the Lady Tiger tennis team faces Florida State at noon.
