BATON ROUGE — LSU’s No. 12-ranked men’s tennis team will take on UNO at 2 p.m. Thursday in its fourth match in five days against an in-state team.
The Privateers have already had success this season against tough competition. In last weekend’s match against Mississippi State their No. 1 singles player, Luka Bernard, beat Mississippi’s top singles player.
“We have respect for what they are capable of,” said LSU head coach Jeff Brown. “We’re looking forward to the competition.”
The UNO match is the first of three late this week. The Tigers face Southern Miss and Texas Southern on Saturday.
