BATON ROUGE — Single-game tickets for the 2005 LSU baseball and softball seasons will go on sale at 9 a.m. Saturday, January 29, in the LSU Athletics ticket office.
Tickets are available for all LSU baseball and softball home games. Baseball single-game tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for children ages 3-12. Softball tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for children ages 3-12.
Tickets may be purchased in person on the first floor of the LSU athletic administration building, or they may be ordered by phone by calling (225) 578-2184 or 1-800-960-8587. Tickets may also be purchased online at www.LSUsports.net.
Payments may be made with cash, check, VISA, MasterCard or American Express. The ticket office is also open Monday-Friday from 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
The LSU baseball squad — ranked No. 2 by Baseball America magazine — begins its 2005 home schedule Friday, February 11, at 6:30 p.m. versus Nicholls State in Alex Box Stadium.
The softball team — which finished third at the 2004 College World Series — opens its 2005 home schedule Friday, February 18 as LSU plays host to the Tiger Classic tournament in Tiger Park.
The LSU baseball road schedule includes three games at Zephyr Field in Metairie, La. — March 23 vs. Southeastern Louisiana, April 6 vs. Rice and April 19 vs. Tulane.
