BATON ROUGE — LSU senior quarterback Marcus Randall will cap his collegiate career playing for the South squad at The Villages Gridiron Classic on Jan. 15 in Orlando, Fla., the all star game announced this week.
Randall, a Baton Rouge native, joins Chance Mock of Texas as the only two quarterbacks on the South roster.
The contest will be played at The Villages Polo Stadium in Orlando and will be televised to a national audience by ESPN2. Kickoff for the contest is scheduled for 10 a.m. CST.
For his career, Randall played in 34 games with 14 starts. He capped his career by throwing for 2,852 yards and 18 touchdowns. He also rushed for 617 yards and five scores in his 34 games for the Tigers.
